Classic Blueberry Pancakes
Fluffy, golden-brown pancakes bursting with fresh blueberries. The perfect weekend breakfast treat.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 1 ¼ cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg, and melted butter; mix until smooth.
- Fold in Berries: Gently fold the blueberries into the batter. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
- Cook: Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
- Flip & Serve: Brown on both sides and serve hot with syrup.
